2. These Terms Do Not Create a Therapeutic Relationship
Using this website — including reading its content, submitting a contact form, or requesting a free consultation — does not establish a therapist-client relationship between you and Erin Riggio, LMHC. A therapeutic relationship begins only after a formal intake process has been completed and a signed Client Services Agreement is in place.
Until that relationship is formally established, communications through this website are not protected by therapist-client privilege and should not include sensitive clinical information.
3. Intended Use of This Website
This website is intended to provide general information about therapy services offered by Erin Riggio Counseling and to allow prospective clients to make contact. It is not intended to provide mental health treatment, crisis intervention, or clinical advice of any kind.

As a licensed mental health counselor in Washington State, Erin Riggio is also subject to regulation by the Washington State Department of Health and the relevant provisions of RCW 18.225 and WAC 246-809.
